CASA IDEA DAY

CASA Mental Health invited me to facilitate three string art workshops during their IDEA Learning Day, requesting different design options that participants could customize and take home. The sessions quickly reached the cap of 60 participants, yet an additional 17 people expressed interest after seeing the finished pieces from their colleagues, highlighting the strong appeal and impact of the activity. Alongside the individual projects, a collaborative community artwork featuring CASA’s logo was created, where both registered and unregistered attendees were encouraged to thread the design together. The workshops not only provided a hands-on creative experience but also demonstrated how string art can serve as a therapeutic process.
