Light of the Heavens and Earth

This artwork is inspired by a verse from the Qur’an (24:35), where Allah is described as the Light that fills the heavens and the earth. The verse paints a vivid image: a shining lamp within clear glass, radiating with brilliance  “light upon light.”

For Muslims, this verse is a reminder that Allah’s guidance brings clarity to the heart, just as light removes darkness. Yet the symbolism of light is universal. It speaks to the human search for truth, hope, and direction.
