I guess hiding or getting lost is not an entirely bad thing; in fact, it might be a significant need but a misfortune if we are never to be found.

It’s really important to remind ourselves that just because you had a moment of weakness, a moment where you felt like you need your alone time, or a moment where you didn’t want to deal with your crying baby, doesn’t mean that you are not fit to be a mom. You are dealing with so much, and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Some might have “a village,” but some of us are “the village,” the land, and everything in between.

Healing is a process and a journey of self-discovery and growth. As you grow as a person, you learn that your journey isn’t for everyone and that sometimes you need to learn to love from a distance those who are not meant to be in it.

I can keep going about the amazing and rare qualities of my grandfather, but my words can’t contain them so I’ll leave it here with an array of sorrow and sadness in my heart.

Sometimes you have to let your heart lead the way, pay attention to its whispers because no matter how good something might look, if it doesn’t feel right, it’s probably not right. Pay very close attention, let it speak to you, and stop looking at things from the surface, look harder and trust that your heart will take you where you need to go. Let it guide your path.

Maybe you are not an evil curse like how you are portrayed in the movies, but a lesson we humans have to go through.
